1996 Dodge Ram relays

When we take the fuel pump fuse out it engages the asd relay but when we put the fuel pump fuse back in it disengages the asd relay and shuts the power off to the fuel injectors and ignition coil why is that

That is odd. The only thing I can think of is a short between the ASD and the power.

It was the crankshaft and camshaft position sensor wires to the connector were wired wrong
