Check engine light went on and I had it checked and a p0106 code came up detecting the map sensor or iat sensor. How do I go about fixing it. Car also hesitates and sometimes dies

P0106 †Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem

Typically that means the computer isn't seeing the correct response during some condition when it expects to see something different. The MAP sensor takes a barometric pressure reading before the engine starts, then it measures intake manifold vacuum. That vacuum, which is an indication of engine load, should be in line with throttle position, engine speed, and vehicle speed. The sensor is working because it would set a different code if it was not. The most likely suspect would be a leaking vacuum hose.
