1995 Saturn SL1 cost of fixing

Oil is getting into the coolant. How much does it cost to fix approx. If it is a head gasket? If it is a cracked block, is it worth fixing. Can parts be found for a car that is this old. I live in Carol Stream, IL 60188. What mechanic, if any would you recommend for this problem. I really need my car.

If it is only a head gasket, you should be able to have it repaired for around 500.00. If the block is cracked, the engine would need replaced. That would be unlikely. But, if it was, close to 3000 to replace the engine. If the head is cracked, figure around 1200.00.

As far as mechanics in your area, I have no list to recommend anyone. Sorry.
