Dear sir/madam
hi
i have an Opel omega B 1995 by x20se motor code. Recently I have a problem with the battery light indicator, that it turns on at night when i'm using heater, so my mechanic said that it's about the alternator regulator so I try to buy new one unfortunately I can't find the same part number as my stuck one(the stuck part number is BOSCH 1197311214 and I found BOSCH 1197311213 )
the shape and detail are the same completely but the extra resistance, that you can find in the new one( 1197311213)
so I have a question about this matter that it is usual and safe to use this new one instead of the old original part in my alternator?

The alternator you question may be a new number and has all the requirement s thatyours needs. Also look into a rebuilt one that has your number
