Fitted a 3.5l v6 to a 3.0l 1985 model pajero.
The original 3.0l had no oem immobilizer and a distributor and 1 coil,
The new 3.5l v6 has oem immobilizer and no distributor and uses 3 coil so the ecu was changed to suit.
I need to remove the immobilizer from the ecu can this be done.
Or I've been told to find an ecu without the oem immobilizer from a US equiverlant (Montero) that has the same engine.
How to find Motero ecu info to compare as I cant find anyone or how to remove the oem immobilizer.

You need to find a place that can modify your current ecm to remove the immobilizer.

Have tried here in Australia for a month with no luck.
Only reply I have received is from Egypt but even they said the postage was astronomical at approx $450A each way, before any work on it.

I'm afraid we can't help you because of putting such a late model engine in the older vehicle.

Its a late 95 3.5l DOHC engine replacing an early 95 3.0l engine.
Would you know where to find out if any montero's have 3 plug ecu or ecm without immobilizer.
