Can I bypass the security igition?

I have a 95 Mercedes C220, I have a key that turns on the ignition and the instruments come on but it will not start. I jump wired the starter & it turns over. Does this car come with a security system, and can I bypass it? I bought it as a non runner.

i would call the dealer and give them your vin to see.

i would start with fuel pressure check, spark test and compression.

No security light on, I thought the car might have a special key.

I found no fuel presure, I'm also checking the relays, and now will check the fuel pump.

I bench tested the fuel pump & it don't work..

That would explain the no fuel pressure good find.
