Start with the transmission. Seems it is faulty if you can get reverse and no forward gears. I assume it is an automatic transmission.

Ok, I checked the fluid and it seemed overfilled but it looks like the previous owners, ive onlyhad it one week, have put motor oil instead of tranny oil. Its too dark. And too thick, looks like motor oil. Wd this cause my priblem, and what do I do? I have some knowledge of car I was raised in the shop but not too good with transmissions.

If the fluid is dark as described, it is bad news. Most probably the seals have given way causing the problem and if engine oil had been filled in, that would definitely cause transmission failure.

Drain the fluid and check for debris coming out with the oil. Put a strainer while draining and you should be able to see debris if any is present, meaning you would need to rebuild or replace the transmission.
