Replaced fuel pump for my 98' sonoma truck, now there is no 2 second pressurization pulse, what happened?

Do you hear the fuel pump come on for 2secs when you turn key On? And also while cranking the engine over?

No
test was done with a helper and they didn't hear it either

Check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay.
