If and when the truck starts and it dies and when it starts as long as I keep my foot on the gas it will some times stay running what do you think it mite be someone told me that it mite be the crank sensor but I don't know

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve and EGR valve and see what happens

Check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control valve (IAC). The IAC is what is responsible for maintaining the vehicle's idle.
