1995 Ford Taurus. Car overheated on the freeway. Pulled over let the car cool down. Car wouldn't crank over. Towed the car home, tried again the next morning but still wont crank over. It sounds like it's going to start but then just continues to crank without starting up. PLEASE help! This is my only way to/from work. I can't afford to have someone come to my house and tell me what's wrong AND then pay for the repair on top of the analysis. Thanks

It could be several things. If the engine was severly overheated, you may have warped the heads, blown head gasket. Based on what happened, I recommend checking engine compression.
