Cruise recall

I have a 1995 f150 and I know there is a recall on the cruise control is it ok to use it?

I believe there is a recall on the wiring from the master cylinder that shuts the CC when the brakes are applied. If that is the recall you are refering to, the harness needs replaced due to faulty wiring that could cause a fire.
