Can there be a wire loose that is causing this to my 1995 Chevy Blazer. When I got the vehicle the powered windows would only work from the drivers side. My husband said he may have hit a bump, after that the windows started to roll down on all doors. But the blinkers went out, they work manually if you turn the signal up and down but only the rear end blinkers will blink when you do this.

We also noticed that when the heater was blowing there was a burnt wire smell and it would quit working here and there. Now it quit blowing completely. My husband thinks that these are two separate issues and wants to get a new heater and new blinker switch. I believe this is a wiring problem and am worried we will be wasting money on parts we don't need. Please help, my vehicle is very cold without heat.

They are probably not related as the circuits are seperate for all 3. However, this usually will not cause a part to burn out as that happens from a power wire shorts out to ground before passing through the part in question. That will damage the wires and stop the electrical item from working abruptly and they will not work by using a work around as you have. So, the parts have some internal failure or a component in the circuit failed. With the window it is hard to say. You have to check the wiring by testing terminals for power. If there is 12 volts at the switch terminals, the switch is bad. If there is not you move on to the next part which would be the motor and if there is 12 volts there, the motor is bad. The flashers could be the relay or the switch. Replace the relay first as the switch is expensive. The blower motor might have burnt the resistor out as it usually smells when it fails.
I am providing you with the wiring diagrams for the 3 systems.
