What does the QDM 1 code mean and what sensors/ solenoids does this affect?

My car is running very ruff and cuts completely off when it is put into reverse. It has also cut off when I was turning, my boyfriends cousin put it on his diagnostics machine and the code that came up was QDM 1. I need to know what this and what it controls so that I can get it fixed because I can no longer put my car into reverse at all. Please help me.

I will have to get him to hook it back up to get it, you need the one that starts with a p. The one that was next to the description right?
