I'm just a big dummy, but I had the same or similar issue with my 93 Jimmy. I Googled it and one thing I read was that a weak battery can cause this issue. I replaced my fuel pump and filter before I did the Googling and now my Jimmy won't start. Assuming everything was cool with the fuel delivery, I began replacing things like sensors and connectors. I then replaced the pressure regulator and intake gaskets. Since I wasn't getting gas flow through the poppets, I replaced the spider injector assembly. I was down to thinking I was going to have to replace the ecm when for some reason I checked the fuel pressure today. Come to find out, it's way low. Thinking maybe it was a weak battery, I hooked up my pickup via jumper cables. It did give me like 3 or 4 more lbs of pressure but not nearly enough. But it could be your issue. Have your battery tested. Also check your fuel pressure. Oh, one other thing with my Jimmy. I don't know if this pertains to the hard cold start in the morning but it had a leak in the intake and was sucking coolant into the combustion chamber(s) which is why I replaced the intake gaskets. Also check to see if your Toy has an ambient intake air temp sensor. I'm told these hardly ever go bad but check your connector and connector wires. Other than that, wait until somebody who knows their business replys with the real deal.
