One of the belt broke and my husband is trying to find the simpliest way to replace it himself. What parts would he have to remove to get to the belts?

It matters what belt needs replaced. Go to our homepage under the DIY section. Find the belt routing section and look up your vehicle. Once you find it, you will see where the tensioniers are located and how the belts are routed. From that, it should help you determine the best way to attack the problem.
