Here's the problem you have a line pressure, tcc, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th transmission solenoid's. That's why I asked you what solenoid? Also if you could please explain to me what is the problem with your car it might not even be a bad solenoid.I'm a factory trained saturn tech so I could really help you with this problem. Let me know so I can help you out.

Well when I am driving my car the shift gets stuck up around the 3 when I'm going from 35 to 55. It makes a buzzing noise when it does that but only when I first get on the highway. When I'm on local streets it mis fires and makes a clunking banging noise when I try to pick back up to speed after coming to a coomplete stop.

Do you have a any trouble code's in your computer? It sound's like you have a pressure issue inside your transmission. If you want to fix it yourself you will need tools socket ratchet air compressor etc. You will also need a transmission pressure gauge set with the adapter's. Otherwise it will cost a lot to have a shop fix it. Are you good at fixing car's?
