what is the box at the top of my engine at the back that when i opened it pink liquid spat out at me i have a peugeot 806 also why is there a chlorine/bleach smell in the car after i drive it for a while

I think that the liquid in question is the engine coolant, when hot it will be under pressure, as for the smell, get the A/C drain tube checked for a blockage and have the A/C system cleaned of any mold and mildew, start here.
