Does a 94 trooper 3.2l auto 4-wheel drive starter require a shim? We just replaced a starter and flywheel for this vehicle and the customer is saying when starting it sounds like it is doing the same thing. The flywheel we removed show all the teeth are worn down to the point the starter wouldn't engage the flywheel. Is this common with this vehicle? Shims or what?
