i have a trans leak i dont know if its a seal is there a seal on the outside of the trans also thats what i was told i know about the ones inside front and back seals i dont want to be taken for a ride by these mechs,

Leaks needs to be verified and sources are usually from seals. Amout of work would depend on where the leak is coming from. Simple job is axle removal. More complex would be transmission removal.
