My hyundai excel check engine light came on I noticed a decrease I power and some sort of rattle from engine. Oil is ok coolant too. The rac mech had aquick look and said its not timing belt/valve or bearings noise seems to come from rockers. What can it be?Engine is cranking but wont start.

Have the computer scan for code/s, there's a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to come on. This is your starting point to finding out the problem.
