Not sure about the way you worded that. If you're expecting to participate in the repair at a repair shop, I don't know any that would do that.

If you are military

Rec Services usually has a on post garage w/ 2 mechanics to assist you in repairing your vehicles. Fees were $.50 for a day in your bay, tools rented at same nothing rates!

Sometimes if you can wait Tech Schools will perform service, with a donation and you buy the parts. Call in advance or visit with them to set things up (if they are able)

I realize that this post is over 5 yrs old now and many of us may already know, but I have been to a couple of those sites. One that comes to mind, off the top is a site called "Fixya. Com" It list several pre-asked and answered questions, so it is possible to discover the answer for free. However, if it is not found then Professional mechanics are available to answer questions usually for a fee and usually small. If I remember correctly, the last time that I visited that site the mechanic asked for only $9. Now, if the information that is given leads to a successful DIY result it is money well spent.

If you know it was 5 years old, why are you responding to it?

You don't need to post references to other forums that do the same thing this site does for free. That wasn't what he was asking in the first place.
