1 I have a 1994 Ram 250 van 318 engine with a DTC:37 code open or shorted condition detected in the overdreive solenoid control circuit or trans. Relay circuit in JTEC Re transmissions.
2 open or shorted condition detected in the Torque Converter clutch ( part throttle Unlock) Solenoidcontrol circuit. Shift Solenoid C electrical fault - Aisin transmission. Or trans. Relay circuit in JTEC Re Transmissions.

That is word for word that my craftsman scan tool reads.
When engine is cold I can do 70 miles an hour as the engine stats to warm up the van has less and less power. When up to normal temp I can only do 10 miles an hour.
Even if I am in park the engine runs good, As it starts to warm up the engine starts to run rough and backfire more and more. I do not need to be driving the van.
I put new Cat. Converter on, I put new (map sensor) on, my fuel pressure is great 40 psi all the time my vaccum is great I have 20 inch vaccum all the time. I do not have money to pay tech. Not in new jersey anyway.
I don't know if the code 37 has anything to do with my problem.
Country: United States
Make: Dodge
Model: dodge van ram 250

Have you checked the EGR? This doesn't sound like a transmission problem, but rather it sounds like an engine problem. Check the EGR and make sure it is working (not carboned).

Let me know.
