I was wondering if there a spot on a 1993 Plymouth sundance to plug in a code reader and if so where it is located and will a 16 pin reader work on it and if so where is it located on the inside of the vehicle. Also I would like to know where to get a list of the codes if possible I'm havering ignition issues and think if I can use a code reader it will make it easier to Diagnose the problem.

Elaborate on "issues". That doesn't describe the symptoms.

You don't need a code reader. Chrysler has always made reading engine codes yourself much easier than any other manufacturer. On '95 and older models you have to count the flashes of the Check Engine light. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to "run" three times within five seconds without cranking the engine, leave it in "run", then count the number of flashes for the first digit. After a short pause, count again for the second digit. Additional codes will flash after a longer pause. The last code will be "55" which can be ignored.

Here's the page for code descriptions:

To use a scanner or code reader, the plug is by the left strut tower. It's a 1" square plug with a corner cut out, and has six terminals.

If you're losing spark and injector pulses, the Hall Effect pickup in the distributor is a real common cause. All auto parts stores will have them.
