Car will start but will only Move for a couple of seconds and once you hit a hill it wont go in any gear

I have a 93 mitshubishi 3000 gt v6 automatic fwd I had the car four about 6 days now and the first thing that happen about 2 days ago was the rpm raced up and I felt like I was going in neautral I checked the fluids they are all fine. Today I took it out 6 miles and when we went up a hill it down shifted I got a block from my house and it stopped moving in drive. I let car sit for about 2 hours and just got it home but it did not make it up my driveway tried to switch to all gears to move but it did not budge what can this be. Is it a major problem or can it be a minor

Did you check tranny fluid with car running on level ground in park? With car off you can get a false reading of full.

Yes sir I checked my trans fluid is full. What else might it be

Could be major(internal mechanical failure) or minor(sensor). Get a scan to see if codes tell you anything.
