How do I go about changing an automatic to a manual?

I love this car and don't want to sell it because it's going to be hard to find another one in a manual. Just want to know if it would be easier/cheaper to either replace the whole engine&transmission, or is there a way to change it?

Is there an issue with the automatic?

It will be very costly to change it over.

Nothing is wrong with it, I'd just prefer it to be a manual. How much are you talking roughly?

Dont know. Depends on the price in your area. Parts vary. Check with a trans shop for a quote.

You would need a trans, flywheel, clutch assy plus hydraulic components, gear shift and cables, transmission mounts and axle shafts.

Work on body is also required as the transmission mount location for manual and automatic transmission are different.

Personally I would never do such modifications to my own vehicle.
