these door locks are known for freezing up with age. the motors rubber accordian sheilds destruct and let water into lock motor. you can take door panels off and test them. but if rubbers are shot it's likely they are junk. you can try to lubricate and revive but better to replace. also test plugs for JUICE before condemning the motor.
