1993 for tempo. I dorve to work with the car missfiering after every bump. Took a look to find number 2 cylinder plug wire loose. Boot came off end. I reattached wire and slide boot down. Went to start and it did ran for 2 sec then died. After that I have no power to anything exept the oil light and check engine light. These wont even turn off wih key out. I think the SP wire grounded with the block from not being on all the way. If thats the case would it be a fuse or a relay or the computer I dont know. Need help asap. Thanks

Start by checking all fuses, relays and fuseable links, you can buy continuity checkers at most autoparts stores.

The spark arcing wouldn't cause any problem. The spark doesn't care if it goes to the spark plug or the engine block, so we can eliminate that.

Now, for the lights to stay on when the key is out leads me to believe there is a problem with the itnition switch itself. I would start there. (Let me know if the head lights, horn. Things that work without the key are still working)
