My battery light is staying on at idle, I have.

My battery light is staying on at idle, I have checked the battery, the alternator, and the voltage gauge in the dash, they all seem to be working fine. It goes off when I rev the engine any above idle. What could cause this?

So at idle using a multi meter what is the voltage reading at the battery?
