I have ford escort that I paid 500 for it. The car done good for a year. The car now needs a motor. Should I fix it or junk it?

Well, with out knowing the rest of the car its a bit hard to say, basically if you invest the money required to do the engine do you want to be driving this car for the next 4-5 years? You will have to do this to make it worth while spending the money.
