1993 CHEVY K1500 V8 5.7 Will not turn over. Dead. Battery charged and all guages/lights work great. No previous problems. No clicking or cruddy starter sounds made. No smells. Previously changed oil and filter and serpentine belt in the AM. Worked great all day. shut it off for a few minutes and nothing. Help. Where do I start?

Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. There should be 12 volts. If there is, the starter is bad. If there isn't, check starter relay and the ignition switch.
