My radiator fans were working perfectly but all of a sudden my car started to overheat just a little so I started moving around the cables that go to the fans and eventually I ended up disconnecting the main fan connection and to my surprise the fans started working again. So now the problem is that the fans are on since I turn on the car and go off till I turn off the car. What can it be?

You didn't say so but I assume you plugged it back in for this to happen.

There is a coolant temp switch in the bottom of the radiator. Try unplugging it and see if the fan stops. If it does the switch is bad. If not, you may have a stuck relay.
