If torque converter is locking up, can cause it to stall at stop. Can you check for applicable mil codes? You should be able to check mil codes, yourself. To check for codes, you can use a jumper wire at the A & B terminals at the datalink connector. Then turn key just till dash lites come on, no further. The mil lamp on the dash starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.
How long since a tune-up? You can also clean the throttle-body and idle air control.
