)ecked codes found codes {41) and (17) when cold runs good trac light on when hot shuts down

The 17 indicates an issue with the cam sensor. If there is no spark to the engine, chances are that needs replaced. Code 41 deals with the throttle position sensor signal. At this point, I don't feel they are related. If you clear the codes, do the exact same ones come back?
