1992 GMC Suburban oil pressure, skipping

At a idle oil pressure is 20 or less and it doesn't really go up past 25 or so even foot to the floor. And at low rpm it doesn't really have any power and when you stomp it and you get higher rpm it picks up some but for a v8 doesn't have much power.

I would say due to the mileage, the main and rod bearings are worn and causing the pressure to be low. Although, the pressure is still in a safe range. As far as power, if you tried all the usual things and the timing is correct and not problem with the catalytic converter, you may want to check engine compression to make sure it isn't low.
