Just replaced my tps, and now the truck wont start (unless using ether)then it idles high. Does the sensor need adjusting (if so how do I do it)or do I have another problem. The truck ran before, but died when at a stop.
it is a 92 f150 5.0
thanks

The TPS is not adjustable. Ensure it is correctly seated, the pivot part where it seats onto the throttle body.

I believe you have a different probelm. Stalling at stops indicates poor idle control and cleaning the throttle body and IAC cures most of such problems.
