1991 Toyota Corolla 1.3l heat gage and fuel gage running past h and f mark off gages what can the problem be

The heat gage and fuel gage is going past the full mark and the overheating mark, we replaced the thurmostat.

Check body grounds. Also, make sure the engine isn't overheating. Check sending unit in fuel tank.

Check the gauge ground circuit.
