1990 Toyota Starlet clutch

Clutch hasn't been slipping but took off from intersection and something went. Will not go into gear if it does clutch isn't grabbing at all. Im not so good with cars. I jus replaced water pump in it. I can't be sure which is the clutch cable. I have never fixed transmission. Frustrating. Maybe gear box or clutch gone? Please help :)

If it will go into gear with engine off see if you can start car- it will jerk until you take off- then it is probably the clutch or cable. Check underhood you should be able to see clutch release arm move with an assistant. We dont' have that in u.S. So no diagrams available. It could be hydraulic as well though so check for release arm moving when clutch applied
