My car is toyota carina 1990 model. The engine is EFI 16 valve. The problem is the wiper is working only in high. How can I mend it myself? Will the wiper motor be damaged if i use wiper in high when low is needed?

You need to check the circuits at the switch and the motor to determine the fault, normally neither will be repairable, it's the way things are to day, being on high will not do any short term damage, it will just be very annoying i feel.
