Deep cuts in piston

No it has a timing chain but im thinking the tensioner shattered cause it wont run it cranks over real slow like somthings stopping it it smells like raw fuel

You need to check timing, but it doesn't sound good. Let me know what you find. When you reply, contine this thread or I most likely won't see it. I was lucky to see this one.

Timing was good but im not going to mess with it anymore its my girlfriends moms car I dont buy foreign cars I know better she has a pathfinder sitting next to it with shredded timing belt I am a ford guy dont have to worry bout interference engines

That is a good idea. I own two myself. The only interferance engine from Ford is the 3.0L in the villager. But, it is a mazda engine. (Lol)
