winshield wiper problems

driver side windshield wiper keeps falling off the side of the car onto my side view mirror. i think the wind pushes it off and when i have them on just at a stand still they won't go all the way down, like 5 inches from the bottom

Check where the wiper blad attached to the post. It is keyed. Make sure it isn't stripped. If it is good, you have to check the linkage to the wipers.
