have a 1990 dodge w250 cummins automatic, got stuck in park one time and I had to jerk it out, now the shift lever on the column moves freely through all gears an doesn't click in, but if I move it to where it should be to be in gear it goes in gear just fine, just the shifter doesn't lock in an make the click noise when you select the gear
