I have a 89 pickup, 4 wheel drive, manual. She has been overheating and I believe there to be a small leak in the radiator. Today when my truck overheated I noticed rainbow fumes leaking with the smoke, and the smell of gas was prominant. Coould my head gasket cause gas fumes to leak into my radiator? What may be the issue if the head gasket is not to blame?

why are you driving it overheated??

you most likely have internal engine damage from this condition.

yes, gas fumes can come from that but look for an active fuel leak
