1989 Olds Delta 88 engine dying

Car has been running fine. 115,000 miles. My sons car. When he depresses the brake pedal ALL the dash lights flash and the engine dies. All happens when brake pedal is depressed. He can get it restarted but the problem re-occurs. Problem has just started all of the sudden.

I gave you an answer follow it and don't be making new posts stay in your original post-Your problem is not a simple fix-it might end in a shop to find the problem-check what I've suggested unable to find it bring it in-
