I have a Nissan Bluebird 1989 1598cc and wish to know if I can replace the engine by a Nissan 300zx engine? Is it worth investing in the engine or which other turbo engine can be mounted on my car? I wish to have at least 220BHP. Thanks in anticipation for your guidance.

Best regards,

You are going to spend so much money to get it to fit and then I can almost guarantee that motor will wrap that car around the drive shaft.
You could at least look for a 180 Silvia so you have the rear wheel drive or if you can get a Skyline. There are actually ones out there that need motors. Check Canadian dealers.
In the end, buy what you really wnat and get it running right. Mods are trouble to get right and you really have to think this out to the ground up level at your desired outcome. You would be better off getting a 300 or even 350 ZX for that bad boy of a motor.
That is one of the best motors ever made. Don't waste it in a car that can't handle it. A Bluebird would probably pretzel before it got power to the ground.
Go to a Nissan enthusiast forum. There you will find guys who have done mods. You will get the best information on these heavy duty mods there.
