It sometimes dies at idle when u hit the throttle and just let it go

What would cause my 1989 ford f250 to sputter at idle and trys to die when im going to slow down or stop ive changed the feul filter the spark plug wires and plugs and the distributer cap and the rotor please, thanks william

Carb or Fuel Injected? Start by checking the fuel pressure if its within specs-

Check TPS, MAF, IAC. Check for vacuum leaks.
