Sears, Walmart, auto parts stores, hardware stores. If you have a Harbor Freight Tools store nearby, they have a perfectly good digital voltmeter for less than ten bucks. It often goes on sale for $2.99.

You need to stick to the same question that I answered that way I get email alerts when you post a new reply. Starting new questions to post replys to me makes it very difficult to help you.I answer a lot of questions each day so to have to hunt down new questions you start to post replies is counter productive and time consuming for me. Please post your replies to the first question you started. To answer your question I have seen multimeters for under 10. It all depends on where you buy them and what kind and what they do basicially a professionial one or cheap diyer one. Harbor frieght always has them for under 10 you can try a auto parts store sears etc. Let me know when you get one so we can get started testing. Also dont start another question to post a new reply post the reply to your oringal question I answered.
