i am looking for the location of the cooling system air bleed valve (if one exists) for a 1989 dodge dynasty 3.0 V6 engine. I am trying to trouble shoot an overheat problem and need to bleed air out of the system. If there is no such valve what would you suggest for procedure to bleed the air?

There's always two coolant temperature sensors near the thermostat housing. You can unscrew one of those. The original thermostat had a bleed valve it that allowed air to escape from underneath it and go into the reservoir so no other external bleed valve was needed.
