I have ordered from RockAuto a Blower Motor Resistor Module for my '89 Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe (FWD). The blower stays on after vehicle shutoff intermittently but more often when ambient is hot. Does module mount from engine side of the firewall or will I have to remove the dash? How can the problem be intermittent? Is there a possibility that the Power Control Module or Relay Assembly might be at fault? Should I get BCM codes set for these failures?

Also, the compressor does not engage on demand or disengages when demand is present intermittently. Any ideas other than add Freon?

Thank you. From which side of the firewall do I access the Blower Motor Resistor module to change it on my '89 Fleetwood Coupe (FWD)?
