Car was hard to turn took it into the service station and they put in power steering fluid. Since then car makes a loud sound not a squeaking sound or whining cant explain it. Someone told me I probably cracked the power steering pump when the fluid was put in since the car had been sitting for sometime

If you're hearing a buzzing noise, that's because there's still air in the system that hasn't bled out yet. Pumps don't crack from adding fluid or being low, but running low can burn out the front seal. Your main concern should be where did that fluid go? It had to have leaked out somewhere, and just adding doesn't fix anything.
