Assuming that it is the TPS that needs replacement it is really EZ, Some Popular-Hospitable Parts store people might change it for you---they will down here in the Heart of the South!

You gotta go there anyway to get one, I'm sure they will point it out---even if they won't do it for you.

As far as speedometer, my Dad had a '86 T-Bird, Now Mom has it. When the Dig. Speedo died in it--it was a matter of removing the Cluster and replacing (I think) 2 bright, push in bulbs, in twisty holders. Similar to the side-marker bulbs in older cars
